This space drama is about the story - not the glitz. Humanity has moved to the stars, but this is a world where it is "every man for himself" and a world that offers few "fuzzy moments". It is a story of people struggling to survive and to find family, friendship and love - while earning a living as bounty hunters. The sets are spare and the actors rely on their craft - not on the action, editing and music. I liked it. Season two was released as Starhunter 2300. The cast in the second season may be prettier, and dressed in tight dark leather but they are still good actors. The story carries the show in both seasons. My favourite character in both seasons was Percy and then Rudolpho. Not your typical series.

Just as good as first time around.I was a fan from the beginning and now I can watch it when ever I want. The quality is fine but it has no extras.

Have watched both seasons, originality and mind twists in this series are amazing, I loved the characters of Percy and Dante particularly, but all of them are neat, Travis in Season two, too! The thing I recommend the series most for is the complex background of the worlds and histories of their universe - a touch of Babylon 5 and (lower budget) Battlestar Galactica in that sense. I quite liked the fact that you can't predict the story lines. Don't be fooled by DVD packages that call themselves "The Complete Series", as of this date they're not. The complete series would have to have 44 episodes -22 is not it...
