great book for anyone starting their own photography busienss

Having owned my own photography business for more than 30 years, the last 12 of which as a wedding photographer, I only wish that there had been a book like Kristen's out there when I was first starting. Her writing is clear, concise and directly to the point. She takes the reader through the process of staring your own wedding photography business in the step by step manner that anyone considering the move should be sure to take. Based upon my experiences I typically find that most young people attempting to start their own businesses tend to learn the hard way, and sometimes after its too late. To have this incredibly well researched and thought out "bible" of a book on the industry and how to break into it "properly" will be a godsend to anyone brave enough to start their own venture. And as opposed to so many books of its type written by authors with no actual experience running their own businesses, Kristen adds to her writing skills the true substance of being a successful and active photographer, public speaker, motivator and businesswoman in her own right. I highly recommend this book!

How to start a home-based- Wedding Photography Business takes you through the 1,2,3 steps -so you do not trip along the way.
What you will learn besides the business of weddings- is how to take images that brides want, and images that sell!
This is a must have book for people wanting to start a photography based business with weddings. I would have liked to have had a CD included with this book: including the forms, bullet point and other informative info, so one can simply add their logo and use as there own. I would have paid extra to have these forms readily available to put on my computer. Hence the 4 stars.. But is is definitely a 5 star presentation.
