System of a Down is great, this album is great, the songs are great, everything is great. There are 16 songs on "Steal This Album" and they all kick a$$. If you like System then get this album.

Another CD of theirs with meaningful lyrics and also some random songs. This CD is excellent and should not be missed, especially by fans. With songs ranging from pizza to bombs why wouldn't you love this CD? The lead singer does some crazy vocals sometimes but always makes it an enjoyable listen. It's metal of course and SOAD does not skimp on making it great. Not much really to say other than pick it up, especially if you are a SOAD fan or just a fan of metal. There are quite a few great songs but it's all quite good.

How this album is not considered one of SOAD's best baffles me! This album is a masterpiece....just another great disc from one of the most intense and original bands ever! People say it lacks originality..no way...listen to the disc it is unreal. This is not a disc that was simply released as tunes that were cutoff other discs..this is a solid album!

This album is a very solid collaboration, although it falters in some respects. Heavy metal is a genre that gets discredited for being repetitious, and this album has a few songs that fit that mould. However, there are always many bright spots. "Innervision" is a powerful and insightful song about what it means to step forth and be yourself, your imagination is power, and without it you are powerless. "Boom!" The song probably most well-known on the album due to the video, is a left-wing foray against neo-capitalism. Its an extremely dark song. The other standout is "Roulette", a simple riff on an acoustic guitar, about love and loss. It contrasts other SOAD songs, but not in a bad way. This song is powerful in its own right. However, its not quite a complete album. It just doesn't seem like there's a theme, but then again it wasn't recorded in one run.

I am a loyal fan, but the system has failed me for the first, and hopefully last time Steal this album frankly made the system seem to suck. 1 thumb down and a fart!

"Steal this Album" is the best of system of a down. This is my favorite band. I have two other cds from them, but this one is used for road trips only. It is my "special cd"

System's third release "Steal This Album" is their best to date. Not to slight their two previous masterpieces, but "Steal This Album" is simply incredible. The album starts out with the head bangin' Chic'n Stu which starts out talking about food, but it's real meaning comes out when it bashes advertising. As the album progresses with jam after jam, a track comes on called Mr. Jack. I personally love the song because it hates on the police. Later in the album you hit tracks like "Pictures" and "Ego Brain" which are just all great songs. Towards the end you hit a song called "Roulette". This song has NO electric guitars, no drums. Just instruments and great harmonizing by Serj and Daron. The song actualy shows that these guys actually know how to play their instruments unlike some bands who just play HARD all the time and really can't tell if they an play or not. The album closes with "Streamline" another great song. All in all, you can play this album from songs 1-END. It's easy to rate this album 10/10 just like their two previous albums. I'm just waiting for their new album to come out, whenever that may be. Buy this album now.
