My son is almost 3yo and he loves Stella and Sam. It was taken off of our OnDemand service right around the time this DVD was announced, so I was ecstatic to get it.
The DVD packaging is very high quality and clearly tells you what to expect when you pop in the disc. Once the disc is in, it does not make you sit through previews and extended production company graphics. That is one of the thing that drives me crazy about children's DVD's. Because normally your child is there, sitting, waiting for the show to start and you're left to try to skip the ads but the skip options are disabled. So, I am very thankful for the fact that within 10seconds of inserting the DVD you are given the Stella and Sam language menu.
The DVD menu is pretty straightforward and lets you select 'Play All' or select an episode. There is also a language option. I don't have much else to say, except for the fact that I am happy to have this wonderful series on DVD for my son and our little one on the way to enjoy for years to come! We have purchaed the second one and I am pre-rdering the third one.

This DVD is very entertaining and actually shows how a big sister and little brother can have fun together. Sam loves to do things with Stella and Fred the dog usually tags along. My grandson loves watching this DVD over and over again even though he now knows the story by heart.
