First of all, I would rate this movie high because it is good. All aspects of it. I liked the setting in an out of the way location in New England. Brilliant story line. I now really do believe in Gypsi curses. The acting is superb. No movie could be better casted. Right down to the smallest part these actors did a wonderful job. I think I got this picture because of Joe Mantegna's treatment of the tough guy gangster roll he played. Kerry (let's see if I can spell this right) Wurhr is so pretty as the Gypsi princess. the music was perfect. Beautifully preformed. If you have a weakness for the macabre, as I do, and you like suspense, there is never a dull moment in this one. By the way, like Alfred Hitchcock, Steven King puts himself in all of his pictures. But unlike Uncle Alfred he has speaking parts. Plus he's a pretty good actor with a flare for humor. Two thumbs up for this one. Mort.
