HASH(0x9e2811e0) out of 5 stars Better than the Hardcover Sept. 4 2015
By Justin Rackham - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Finding this copy was a hidden gem. It is exactly the same as the hardcover, U.S. Version, just with a soft cover and different graphics on the front. It was also 1/4 of the price of the U.S. Version.

The book has very detailed tables and photos for learning about plants, but also includes some basic biology info, and a bit of chemistry.

All in all, a well rounded text book that is interesting to read and informative. Can't beat the price. Take care of it and it will be there just as long as the hardcover edition.

HASH(0x9e28160c) out of 5 stars Awesome Textbook! Oct. 20 2015
By Ben - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
If you need to learn some botany, this is the book for you!

As a botany student, this book is required for my class. Buying it used on Amazon saved me a lot of money, and it was in great condition. The diagrams are accompanied by actual images of plants, plant structures, etc. This is extremely helpful.

I have this book for my botany class, bought via campus book store. I have learned more from the book then from my teacher. It's quite clear and very informational. I'll definitely be able to use this information in my further studies.

HASH(0x9e2819a8) out of 5 stars A little wordy Dec 14 2013
By Tanner - Published on
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This was my book for an intro botany class. It goes into a lot of detail at a higher level than I was prepared for in an intro class. Not always a bad thing I guess.
