Good book but bad printing Sept. 13 2013
By Matt B - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
The chapters cover good introductory concepts on cellular structure and applications of botany, but several (30?) pages have ink smears all over them. The book is readable and the color photos that don't have bad printing are very handy, but the pages that are blotched out and smeared are unacceptable in a book that costs over $130 dollars. This was a bad batch/printing, your luck may be better.
Okay March 2 2014

Pages are not all in tact
Other than that it was okay quality
But now, I would have liked to pay less
A little wordy Dec 14 2013

This was my book for an intro botany class. It goes into a lot of detail at a higher level than I was prepared for in an intro class. Not always a bad thing I guess.

Five Stars Aug. 14 2014

Good college botany reference.
... a review on the book itself (Which is a great book) but the condition it was in Jan. 15 2015

Not a review on the book itself (Which is a great book) but the condition it was in. The spine was all but disconnected and since I rented it, I had to be super delicate with it so as not to cause further damage.
