Good book but bad printing Sept. 13 2013
By Matt B - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
The chapters cover good introductory concepts on cellular structure and applications of botany, but several (30?) pages have ink smears all over them. The book is readable and the color photos that don't have bad printing are very handy, but the pages that are blotched out and smeared are unacceptable in a book that costs over $130 dollars. This was a bad batch/printing, your luck may be better.

I have this book for my botany class, bought via campus book store. I have learned more from the book then from my teacher. It's quite clear and very informational. I'll definitely be able to use this information in my further studies.

Good college botany reference.
A little wordy Dec 14 2013

This was my book for an intro botany class. It goes into a lot of detail at a higher level than I was prepared for in an intro class. Not always a bad thing I guess.
