I was shopping for a large steak press,as I did not want two small presses. This one is large enough.I seasoned it before using even tho it is preseasoned.I did this because reviews on the small press said they had problems w/ rust and bad flavor from the iron.I have no flavor problem at all. I use it on burgers,bacon,chicken,ribeye steak.I would have gave 5 stars,except the handle comes loose.I glued the screws into the handle ez enough.So far so good,Thanks Hfinn

Tough and big enough for two patties or even two filleted chicken breasts this weight does the trick for me. Construction is great and heavy enough. It was easy to season and now produces wonderful grill marks as well as making foods cook a bit faster. Would buy again.
