I was mesmerized and transported to the areas the artist photographed. I saw enough of the images from the publisher's website of Chronicle Books to feel this book would sustain my interest. The quality of light, the shifting colours - anyone who values stillness and luminous atmosphere by water will be entranced.

This note is for you Debra and other authors of picture and paint books.

If you really want me to purchase your book you will have to give a preview, and the cover picture just doesn't cut it. I do buy , but only the books that preview their work. It is a shame, because your book may be just what I was looking for , but we will never know because you have protected it so much. Be brave and have a little more trust in your fellow man[ or in this case woman].
