About the Author
Mary Amato is known for her comic middle-grade novels. She is the author of the popular seller "The Word Eater", which appeared on many state lists, and the recent "Snarf Attack", "Underfoodle", and the "Secret of Life", which Library School Journal called "hilarious". She is also a storyteller, poet, puppeteer, mask-maker, and quilt-maker. Ms. Amato makes her home just outside of Washington, D.C. This is her third novel.
Ethan Long may well have been a Riot Brother growing up. Now he is a popular children's illustrator whose picture books include "Fiesta Fiasco" by Ann Whitford Paul, in addition to the Riot Brothers titles. He lives in Florida with his family.

I am a media specialist and my students can't get enough of the Riot Brothers. So far I have bought this book for my library and have a waiting list. It is a wonderful read for reluctant readers. This is a must buy!!!! My students are begging for Mary Amato to write another book. This is a great series and recommend it to any elementary school or middle school student.
