About the Author
Farmer, writer, and 4-H Club leader, Kelly Klober has raised purebred Duroc hogs for about 30 years. Kelly lives with his wife Phyllis on their farm in Missouri where they also have rabbits, several flocks of chickens producing hatching eggs, and flocks of minor poultry breeds.

I have a number of Storey's Guides to raising livestock and having added pigs to the farm, I also added this book, it did not disappointment me, its a good solid guide on all basic information required.

This is another wonderful Storey title. You can tell the author loves hogs and I enjoyed his stories about his hogs. But the great thing about this book, like most other Storey titles, is the no-nonsense INFORMATION presented. Real helpful INFORMATION you can use whether you are raising two or twenty hogs. And good information on breeding too. I want to get myself a pig or two, and this book tells me what I need to know!
