Grubb's best known for his great novel 'The Night Of The Hunter' but he could write fine short stories as well and this collection, out of print for more than 40 years, confirms that. Gentle fantasy tales and creepy ghost stories, all written with a master's care and love. You may not love all the stories in this collection but you won't forget a single one. What more can you ask for?
