A Gift

I have been waiting for this book to be released ever since I discovered Dr. Gordon was writing a book. I wish I could give this man the world because he certainly has given the world to my Mom, daughter, and I after being my Dad's cardiologist for over twenty years. Experiencing his first but not last heart attack in the early 1990s, I feared as a five year old that my Daddy would never walk medown the aisle. After four heart attacks, thirty plus heart caths, tens of stents, quadruple bypass surgery, and a defibulator/pacemaker, the very least I can do is to ask all of you to purchase Dr. Gordon's book. Undoubtedly, this man is truly a mold of God's greatest gifts. Because of his gifts, my father was able to watch me earn my high school degree, Bachelors (Summa Cum Laude) from Osu, Masters degree from Mvnu, walk me down the aisle, but most Importantly, create ever lasting memories with my five month old daughter, Madolyn. Dr. Gordon has given me a priceless gift: I am able to tell my Dad to his face with a beating heart that I love him rather than to a granite headstone. Seeing Dr. Gordon walk into the family waiting room always brought two emotions: anxiety and warmth. Anxiety for fear of the unknown but warmth from his eyes that was comforting my mother and I; letting us know God was and will always be with us serving as our protector. Please purchase this book and share the good news that God has bestowed upon Dr. Gordon in the faith, hope, and love present in text of this book.

This book is beautifully written and a journal of one families amazing strength and fortitude. "When adversity comes our way, it is how we respond to that difficulty that determines who we are."
