The key element, the importance of exploiting Distinctive Competencies based on Efficiency ,Quality, Innovation, and Customer Satisfaction in order to achieve Competetive Advantage, is demonstrated througout his book in his concise and to the point cases, which are all recent experiences of well known players. This book was written to take up the time of the everyday student. Because of poor grammar and lack of logical ways of wording sentences, it takes twice the time to understand what the author is trying to say. The cases, however, were helpful in understanding the material presented in the chapters.
