The Stinger XT is a compact, powerful, super-bright, high performance rechargeable, lightweight personal flashlight with easy to locate tactical tailcap switch. It is the most powerful flashlight ever made in it's size. The machined aluminum housing with a non-slip rubber grip is anodized against corrosion and the unbreakable polycarbonate lens make the Streamlight Stinger XT Flashlight virtually indestructible. It features a xenon gas-filled bi-pin bulb. with variable spot to flood beam, a beam of up to 15,000 peak beam candlepower, 125 lumens, and a 30-hour life. The Push-button switch located in tail cap provides convenient one hand momentary or constant operation. The Stinger XT Flashlight is serialized for positive identification. The three cell, 3.6 Volt, sub-C nickel-cadmium battery recharges up to 1000 times. It has a continuous run time of one hour. The Streamlight Stinger XT has an LED charge-continuity indicator. The compact, snap-in charger mounts in any position. This Streamlight Stinger XT comes with the AC 120V (home) and DC 12V (vehicle lighter) chargers/holders. Great price for this particular model, fast shipping, and good packaging. As to the flashlight itself? If you know anything about Streamlight, you know they make a good product. This model came with car and home chargers. The chargers take about 10 hours to charge the light, but I was aware of that before purchasing.

The Streamlight Stinger XT is a good, solid flashlight that will last a long time. The aluminum case and poly-carbonate lens ensure this light will hold up under most adverse conditions. The tail-cap switch is great for tactical applications but not as practical for a general use flashlight. The Xenon bulb is bright but, still has a dimmer, yellowish tint when compared to the LED model. Battery life is good but again, not quite as good as the LED model.
