When I tasted it I knew I had hit on something. It was in fact very delicious indeed. You would have thought I spent all day cooking that stew. The whole family absolutely loved it, and I got the thumbs up for authenticity from my fiancee'.
I will recommend this book to anyone who wants to cook authentic cajun/creole cusine.Spice Garden Natural Cajun Seasoning, Hot, 3-Ounce Jar (Pack of 6) I used this seasoning to flavor the chicken.

I'm so glad I ordered an extra one, it makes a great gift. This cookbook is defiantly sharing his love of great food and New Orleans. During our brief snow storm (all of 10 minutes of snow) we made the Southern Decadence Shrimp Creole dish, easy and delicious. I really enjoyed all the special little readings throughout the book. I can tell already this will be one of my favorites.
