3.0 out of 5 stars TRIAD GANGS, Dec 28 2009
By Kay's Husband - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Strike and Retrieve (Mass Market Paperback)
'

STRIKE & RETRIEVE, Super Bolan #89, written by Ron Renauld, an author of at least 6 other Super Bolans along with Able Team and Executioner (Mack Bolan) books as well, has written an interesting Super Bolan dealing with a mixed plot of Chinese Triad groups active in the Mojave Desert and later seeing Stony Man pilot Jack Grimaldi forced down in Chinese territory.

The action of the novel stretches from California all the way to Xiangshu Province, China. Top secret aircraft and industrial espionage are the foundations on which this Bolan saga rest, with a cast of characters from Bolan, to Stony Man Farm John 'Cowboy' Kissinger and Jack Grimaldi, not to mention a host and more of 'baddies' which Mack Bolan will need to handle. Mack always adds lead to the bad guys diet.

Anyone reading in this long standing action/adventure series from GOLD EAGLE publishing will know what to expect, those encountering the books as a beginning reader will find a few night's entertainment packed within the book's cover. With a few readers claiming to have read the entire book of 349 pages in one sitting. Read at your own peril, i.e., loss of time caught up in an excellent series of books, the largest selling group of books of the action/adventure field.

I've been reading them since 1986, having shelves full of PHOENIX FORCE, ABLE TEAM, STONY MAN, EXECUTIONER, AND SUPER BOLANS and have yet to tire of them. I heartily recommend any GOLD EAGLE book in print as well.

Semper Fi.
