And not surprisingly the Delphi Apollohas become one of our all-time best sellers and favorites among collectors! The movement is a 20-jewel mechanical automatic, a simple three hand movement with the crown offset between the two and three o’clock position. The parts of the movement have been skeletonized and hand-engraved for extra panache. The textured dial on what remains of the off-center cut-out is vintage Stührling Original dial-work to the point that the beauty of the dial rivals the beauty of the movement which dominates this timepiece. The step-design round case (44mm) is constructed of solid 316L surgical stainless steel and has Krysterna crystals (front and back) and with its screw-in case back, is 50 meters water resistant. The watch is mounted on a genuine leather strap with a lizard embossed finish. The beauty and technical achievement of the Delphi Apollo far exceeds its reasonable price tag.

It is a piece of art! ..... however it is HUGE! ...I am quite small/slim and have thin wrists .... so actually I would like to return for an exchange. Also note: These are either made/or assembled in China.

This was my first purchase of a Stuhrling watch and I am ever so happy with the purchase. The amount of detail on this watch is incredible. Skeleton watches are one of the more eye catching watches out there because you can literally see time go by as the gears spin each other. The elegance of the rich gold color gives this watch even more of a "Wow!" factor. I also really enjoy the font that was used for the numbers on the dial.

Awesome watch...if it worked!
Awesome watch, but didn't work. Thought it needed to be 'charged' with movement, but the hands just kept turning all over the place. Too bad, because I really liked it. Read more
