5.0 out of 5 stars Chill Out with a Great Mix of Electronic Music, Jan 3 2007
By Catvision - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Sub-Conscious (Audio CD)
This is a great album to chill out to. There is a variety of music which appeals to me and shows the talents of the musicians/composers. Sometimes you get an album and every track sounds like the last one - boring! So this album is a great mix and although every track is different they all work well and flow together in a variety of styles from meditative, mello, rock, jazzy, ambient, classical, electronic. My favorites are Floating, Five and Blue. Great background music for working, hanging out, reading, etc...

4.0 out of 5 stars Office Max, Aug 30 2006

All the tracks have a low key, soothing New Age sound, and most have a classical/orchestral flavor. This is a great collection of tunes for the Office or late at night as you drift off to sleep, etc. If you like the New Age works of Chris Spheeris and David Arkenstone, you probably will like this album too....though Spheeris' and Arkenstone's music tends to be a little livelier, which is what I prefer and why I gave Sub-Conscious four stars rather than five.

That song is Days and it is freaking great. A touch of Jimmy Page and a huge sound and it make me feel really good. So I'll be back when I've heard the whole thing. Maybe bump it to five. . .
Okay so I'm back after receiving the album and it's good to great. Lyrical, cinematic, he has an extremely good grasp of orchestral form. Eclectic turns from Lesium choral rock to country influenced and all good. "Days" is still the best tune but it's certainly worth checking out all of it. Good Stuff. If I were making a movie I'd want Chris Field taking a run at the sound track for sure.
Go get it.
