love love love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! July 12 2011

We have tried others and then bought these, thankfully! My 3 kids have used these since first grade and do them Mon-Fri during the summers. They would never say they love them but they appreciate them when they get back to school and never give me a hard time about doing them. I know they like them. FYI-You may want to go for the next grade level if school is too easy for a certain child. We will always do them!Thank you!

Good June 18 2011

Each of my three older children has one of these and I think they are very effective. They only take about 10 minutes a day and so they are not the least bit overwhelming, while still covering a broad array of subjects and activities. My only issue with them is that the answer key pages are very small and difficult to read. I have ordered older additions of these in the past and the answer keys were much easier to follow.

Great Series! March 13 2012
By summermom - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Perfect Paperback
I have been buying these books for my kids for several years now. They are a great way for kids to keep up with their skills over the summer but not have to spend a whole lot of time on them. They're just a great refresher for them on the prior year as well as gives them a taste of what they will start learning in the next grade. I highly recommend the Summer Bridge series!

"Exactly what we needed" Sept. 8 2011
By M. ALM - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Perfect Paperback Verified Purchase
I sent this to my 8 year old granddaughter for the summer break between 2nd and 3rd grade. My daughter called me to tell me it was exactly what they needed for keeping up the skills learned in 2nd grade. These books are a valuable summer tool to give kids a good start when they head back to school.

Saves many hours of catch-up. Feb. 5 2013

The grade levels are just right, and it makes for less catch-up the next year. The kids can do this independently.
