All of the books are GREAT.Book One: The Contest Book Two: The Climb Book Three: The Summit.I love them all. I felt sorry that Chris was cut becaue of his age. Perry should have told his uncle he was afraid to climb. I was very sad when Tilt died. Jerk or not. I love Gordon Korman`s books SO much that I`ve got the urge to turn the axis of motion vertical. To defy gravity and leave the ground in search of some impossibly distant summit. To CLIMB. I`ve nearly gone INSANE wanting to go vertical so badly. My gole in life is to climb Mt.Everest up and decend and live. Gordon Korman, I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!

This book, Everest The Summit by Gordon Korman is the BEST book I have ever read. This book talks about 4 kids going to the tallest mountain on the face of the Earth, Mount Everest. They get there and they go through tests to see if they have what it takes to take on the mountain. And then finally they go through the test and the instructor Cap Cicero says that they are ready. If you want to find out what happens next... then you will have to read this GREAT book.

Everest Book Three; The SummitPeriod 1 In the exciting finale of Everest's Books by Gordan Korman Dominic get he last chance to summit Everest. Cap doesn't know that he is climing with Ethan Zaph and This Way Up team. If Cap doesn't know that he is climbing he can't lose his job. When Dominic reached 28,000 feet he ran out of oxygen and had to share Ethan's in order to survive. Cap found out that Dominic was climbing when he tune d the walkie talkie and heard the two of them cheering on the summit. He was mad that Dominic didn't tell him, happy that the kid got a chance to climb the moutain, and horrifired because a blizzard was coming. The only way to survive was to go on the oppisite of the mounatin and climb down to a German Expidition. As they were climbing , within the first five hours they ran out of oxygen. Winds were in triple digits and they were out of steamed exhuated and wanted to sleep. If you sleep at the altitude, which is about 27,200 feet, you would wake up dead. As they kept decending the found a pit of ice that would protect them from the winds. They slept that night and woke up fine with no frostbites of any type. As they kept climbing down they found out that they were near base camp. Cap and the rest of the team saw them and carried them down the rest of the way to camp two where there was hot food, breathable air, and a chance to sleep. My favorite part of the book was when Ethan and Dominic summited. I also enjoyed but it was short lived after the news of the blizzard. My least favorite was just that. The fact of the billazard tore it apart but made the book interesting. I would give this book to any of my friends to read. I think this story was good because of the team effort that the group gave to get to the summit of Everest as the world's youngest team to ever try. Tilt Crowley was pretty stubborn and messed it up for everyone. But they each gave it their all. I would recommend this book to all of my friend who like to read adventure books and would rate it a 5 out of 5. He did a job in this story of Everesters.
