I found the sound quality of the recordings on this disk is good enough to rival some of my better (but not best) direct-to-disc long-playing phonograph records. D2D records are still the finest storage media for music ever made. Like many of my D2D records, this CD contained works by artists I had not heard of before. Most of the music is perfectly listenable, and well-performed. But the Liszt piece performed by George Emmanuel-Lazaridis is astounding. His speed, finesse, and expressiveness are as good as I've ever heard.
