This book was recommended to me by a person who's son is recovering amazingly fom a traumatic accident. The ability that the brain has to grow and adapt throughout our entire lifetime is encouraging. Everything from learning disabilities and physical disabilities to habits and relationships and so much more can be seen from a completely different and inspiring perspective when we become aware of the brain's neuroplasticity.

This book is suitqble for everyone and all should read it. It puts to rest the misunderstandig that the brain and the mind are one with rigid properties that cannot be changed. It presents the very optimistic outlook that we can change our lives and situations for the better. The input by Depak Chopra of ways to accomplish change are very helpful and in every sense a "How to" apply the information the book provides.

This book has helped me understand both myself and others. My husband and I have truly enjoyed reading this book and hopefully we will be able to apply its important message and grow old gracefully. We will recommend it to family and friends.

I truly enjoyed this book. It made me look at the brain as an instrument or a tool which can be used efficiently until death. It gave me insight on how I could keep developing it as I got older. Whereas before, because my Mother has Alzheimer, I thought I was destined to end up in the same situation when I got older and I was scared. I found out that I can do something about it now by creating new paths in my brain keeping the learning process active, something complex that I've never learned before. I also like the way he explained the difference between the brain and the mind and how he connected it to the spiritual.
