This impressive new roster includes classic combatants from previous Street Fighter games like T. Hawk, DeeJay, Guy, Cody and Adon, as well as all-new characters such as the mysterious and deadly female fighter, Juri. The addition of Juri also brings another first to the Street Fighter franchise as she is the first fighter in series history to utilize the legendary Tae Kwon Do fighting style. Beyond characters, Super Street Fighter IV adds an enhanced Ultra Combo system as well as major enhancements to the online and offline gameplay modes introduced in Street Fighter IV.

I loved everything about Street Fighter IV, but just as I was thinking of picking that game up, I saw news of the then upcoming, Super Street Fighter IV, so I waited; I got the game for $44.99CAD (not sure where another reviewer below got the $62.89 price from) on release day, and it is what Street Fighter IV should have been from the start! Anyone who likes fighting games in general, let alone Street Fighter, should close their eyes and just buy this game.

I won't reiterate what others have said about this game, but I do have a good note to add about the Multiplayer gameplay. This game must have the best multiplayer stack I have ever experienced. I played online matches (via PSN) against my brothers who live some 10,000km (literally) away in Asia, their signal bar showed *zero* signal strength, and the indicator was *red*, yet the gameplay was like we were playing in the same room, I just could not believe how smooth the whole thing is, ANY other game is unplayable with them because of the huge geographical distance between my brothers and I. Kudos to CAPCOM for this amazing multiplayer stack!

You'll like Super Street Fighter 4 if you like the previous one. Fun is more fun now.

This time round, you can choose from a roster of 35 characters, all unlocked from the start. There's no need to waste time unlocking characters anymore, not to mention going online to look for ways to unlock characters, which I find really silly.

10 new characters are added, namely T.Hawk, Dee Jay, Adon, Cody, Guy, Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto, Juri and Hakan. Hakan's pretty hilarious. Looks like I'll pick up some new characters to play with just for fun.

Few changes made to some characters. It's things like damage, stun, charge time, subtle move variations and some other attributes. Some are given a boost, some are weaken. From what I read online, most characters have improved, but I've not tested every character out yet (not to mention I don't have the expertise to do so). Guile's sonic boom charge is now slightly shorter. Sagat's a little more mortal now. Cammy, well, I've heard complaints. Differences for the most part might be noticeable only if they are your main characters. Overall, I think everyone's a bit more balanced.

Oh, and every character has two ultras to choose one from now. Nice. But somehow I wished that they could have included both the ultras instead of letting us choose. Why not anyway? It's strange for a character to "somehow" forget a move (ultra) during the fight.

Another nice touch is that both the classic car and barrel bonus stages are also back. Reminds me of when I was a kid playing and those barrels would fall on my head and knock me out. Alright, enough of that.

There are also a few new online game modes: Team Battles, Endless Battle and Replay Channel.

Playing this game is awesome. Reminds me of when I used to play Street Fighter in the arcade. The online is pretty sweet too playing Endless Battles (basically playing someone over and over again or taking turns just like in the arcades).

Easily best game I've played in like... 10 years.
