Product Description

From the guy who brought you Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin comes Superbad. Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) want nothing more than to lose their virginity before they head off to college. To do that, though, they need to get liquor for the big party that night. With the help of their friend Fogell, a.k.a. McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and his fake I.D., the three of them go on a hilarious chase for that elusive booze, dodging incompetent cops (Knocked Up's Seth Rogen and "Saturday Night Live's" Bill Hader), angry neighbors and jealous boyfriends. Hailed as an "iconic comedy...a true classic of its times" (Pete Hammond, Maxim), Superbad is a laugh-out-loud masterpiece!"

Coming of age party movie excellence. Classic lines, memorable quotes, slapstick humour, Cera karaoke of fellow Canadian Burton Cummings, high-larious!

This film not only did this film capture the awkwardness of high school years and sex during those years to a tee. Its a film that people would go watch multiple times and featured an enormously talented Canadian cast. The script was written by Seth Rogen and Evan Gold (which are based off the characters in the movie names Seth and Evan) while in high school and most of the jokes stayed the same. Funny is funny period. Comedies don't get the respect they deserve and people who don't like this film fear controversial and awkward subject matter that captures a lot of people who actually remember being young. This will always be one of my favorite movies of all time.

It seems like everything Canadian actor Seth Rogen touches turns to gold; "40-year old virgin", "Knocked Up" and now what might prove to be the best of the lot, the awesome "Superbad". The story revolves around three virginal soon-to-be high school graduates who have been invited to a party by hot girls on the condition that they can bring booze to the underage event. Fake ID's in hand, they set on their mission, which will take them on many unexpected twists and turns along the way. This movie has an unlimited supply of drop dead funny one-liners and outrageous sequences. It's very crude humour, but what else would you expect from Rogen? A must-see film.

This movie is foul, gratuitous and raunchy...which might as well describe the lives of teenage boys. This movie touches a part of teenage life that everyone who wasn't "one of the cool kids" can relate to. From the fantasies of going from social outcast to social king, to the cops wanting be appear cool to a young version of themselves. This movie on top of making us laugh, makes us remember what it was like, to be there.

I loved the fact that there were a few surprises in the movie, and that characters ended up being a lot more 3 dimentional than at first glance. Definitely a keeper.

By the creators of "40 Year Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up","Superbad" is another movie in the same genre as those movies and if you liked any of those two chances are you will like Superbad. There have been planty of movies like this before with guys, girls, parties, fake IDs,sex and booze and stuff think of American Pie and a few others. This movie can only fit a mature audience, but is mainly aimed at teens who are going trough those phases of life.I mean it happened to everyone(or nearly)and will continue to.In Superbad we are introduced to Seth and Evan who are best friends and they are graduating soon and they want to loose their virginity before, its a stupid plot and its kind of embarrasing if you are not watching this movie with the wrong type of person(to watch the movie with).Well coming from the guy who made similar movies you had to expect something like that.

The storyline: Basicly two best friends,Seth and Evan wanting to lose their virginity before going to college or university. The girls of their dreams invite them to their party IF they can bring some booze to the party wich they assure they can. That`s really when it kicks in and the movie really starts here. They try to get some booze with their fake IDs and all and the cops come in and basicly let McLovin buy the booze!(his fake Id states McLovin is his real name with no last name!It looks terrible saying he`s from Hawaii and all). Then they have a terrible night at the party with their girls and it turns to a nightmare for them(McLovin as a funny moment at the party). It ends on a more happy note with each being with their girls but we don`t have any idea of what happens after, still it ends alright.
