I surrender!!,
By
This review is from: Surrender (Paperback)
I really liked this read. It was about surrending to just about anything anyone wants you to do. The author did a fantastic job of bringing the reader into a world that seemed so real, yet so forbidden. I would most definitely read more from this writer. I also liked Breaking the Girl.

Be prepared to be Surrender your inhibitions,
This review is from: Surrender (Paperback)
If you're looking for a hot, sexy read that you can escape into, I would recommend Kimberly Zant's Surrender. The basic premise is a female protagonist who finds herself in dire financial straits, and needs to secure a well-paying job. She becomes a contract submissive for six weeks to five men who are related to each other. She learns to let go of her sexual inhibitions, and revels in each and every sexual encounter with the men. There is an element of romance to the book, as she begins to fall in love with one of the men, but does not want to give up the other four. The sex scenes are explicit and very hot. You'll have a tough time putting it down once you start reading.

Interesting Premise, Anticipated Outcome,
By Stirling Messenger "Stirling" (Ontario) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Surrender (Paperback)
The premise of Surrender is kind of interesting. The narrator needs money to fight a custody battle and she contracts to give herself over to a group of men for 6 weeks. The men are fairly cardboard, except for two brothers who receive careful development. The sex is frequent and the descriptions while not long are gripping. Not surprisingly the cold male figure, like in so many other novels is melted by the heroine but remains an enigma throughout but eventually begins to open up emotionally just as the lady opens up physically. Both discover themselves through each other. I found the earlier portions of the book more stimulating because the action was more unpredictable and all of the players were involved. As the book moves on the tensions between the male doms begin to resolve and they all fall happily into infatuation with the female sub. Somehow their competitiveness just melts away without explanation. Another author that really does not know the male psyche but who tells us how she wishes we were. I guess that is what fantasy is about. I would recommend this book, but if you are expecting something as hot as Carrie's Story or Safe Word or Topping from Below, you will be disappointed.
