3.0 out of 5 stars Another fine-otopia Aug. 4 2001
Format:Paperback
Survive! was exciting the whole way. Kurt gets himself into plenty of trouble, and I liked the way his family and dinosaur friends pulled together to help. As usual, the friendly, talking dinosaurs of Dinotopia are hard to accept. Things seem a little too lovey dovey. Among newer dino novels, Dinosaur Wars by Hopp has - how shall I put it? - a little more bite. Still, Survive was a fun, rather light read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for a bit of distraction...but... Sept. 7 2013

But if you're like me and have a (possibly) unhealthy attraction to the psychology behind amnesia and the effects on daily life this isn't a good read. That plot point is barely talked about. It's a kids book and meant for kids, not like guardians of ga-hoole or dragonriders of pern which could be kept through adulthood.

Like in my title it's a good distraction if you've been reading plot heavy books though.

I read all the books regarding Dinotopia. I even saw the movie and the tv series. I enjoy them. Good one!
