This book will help you get into SWAT shape if that is you goal. It covers all the basics that you will need and is in a very user friendly format and great pictures. If you are looking for a place to get your team started on a fitness program or if you are going to have SWAT tryouts in the next year this book will fill in the gaps of any ones training. The author knows what he is talking about and can put his money where his pen in.

Ok if you are fitness illiterate, April 22 2006
By Musclecop - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Swat Fitness (Paperback)
I am police officer with the ultimate goal of joining my departments E.R.T. team . I know the demands the job calls for. I thought this book would have some detailed protocols the teams use. To my dismay it was like my personal training text book I had in school. If you know nothing about fitness it's for you. If you are a dedicated fitness person or officer leave it on the shelf. I was disappointed.

A rather basic exercise book, May 26 2006
By R. Friederich - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Swat Fitness (Paperback)
The book is not bad and has good exercise information contained therein. However, I was disappointed by the fact that the book's title implies something high speed/low drag, and the reality is that it is a pretty basic exercise (mostly body weight) book. There is no doubt that if you followed the program and did the exercises therein, you would get in excelllent physical condition.
