2.0 out of 5 stars Let down and left disconnected May 1 2012
By Claire - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have waited months and months for this book to be released only to be left dissatisfied. The perspective for the first few chapters is strange, it's a mixture of formal and casual address and reads like a narration. All this left me feeling disconnected from the characters and unable to believe in their romance. I never cared about any of the H/h's in this book. You never really get to know them, not enough to care. I particularly disliked the secondary romance where there is cheating and abandonment involved and the girl just accepts it. What the hell. The only good thing about this book is the byplay between previous characters and their discussions about babies. This looks to be the final book so it does give you a wrap up on the characters at the end. I'm sorry to say that this isn't worth buying unless you feel the need to finish the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sad to see the series end May 15 2012

I have loved this Richmond Rogue Series from the beginning and am so sad to see it come to an end. Loved Law and Cat in this book. Their first meeting at Haunt and the little game they played until the secret came out was fun. The secondary characters, Brody and Mary were cute. Nice to have revisited ALL the players lives in the end of the book. I'm sad. :(. Will look forward to anything written by Kate Angell .

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Ending to the Series May 21 2012
By MJR - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the end of the series for the Richmond Rogues, covering players Law and Brody. The story about Law and Cat was excellent -5 stars but the subplot of Broday and Mary seemed like an after thought. The story of Law and Cat is in keeping with the other couple stories for the rest of the team. They have great chemistry, a few misunderstandings along the way, and a great happy ending. Having previous players & wives woven in the story was nice. You get to catch up on where they are without it taking away from the main characters.

I think the book would have been 5 stars if Brody and Mary were A) rapped up in the epilogue, not a few disjointed chapters thrown in the middle of a really wonderful stroy about Law and Cat or B) given a full story that alternated chapters with Law and Cat.
