Actifry is on of the best kitchen appliances I have ever bought, and I have a lot. I agree that everything you do with your Actifry can be done on the stove or in the oven, but for whatever reason I find it much easier to do it in the Actifry. Cooking on the stove, especially when dealing with heated oil is always a dirty job. I love that all the splatter stays inside. All things I cooked were great. I did potatoes wedges or French fries, meat, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and many other things. What it did not seem to work was some finely cut cabbage. Maybe I should have used more liquid for that, anyway I popped the partly cooked cabbage into a pot and I finished cooking it on stove.
Up to now I had no problem with it. I have it for approximately 6 months. I only clean it by hand. I find cleaning very easy. The pan is lovely, as nothing sticks to it. The paddle gets dirty, but I use a brush to clean it. Yes I have no idea why they made it hollow as some cooked food gets inside. That is the only flow this machine has.
I also bought some extra warranty, as I bought in a local store. I hope I won't need the warranty. This machine is great!
