Magnificent musicals!,

I was never a fan of old classical films but after watching these musicals, I became totally obsessed with it! I particularly liked Meet Me in St. Louis as I find it very fun to watch. The colors, the glamour, the acting, the elegance of the actors, everything adds on to the magic of these musicals! I highly recommend this to everyone!

Even if you are allergic to old movies,those four films belong in your dvd collection.SINGIN'IN THE RAIN and THE BAND WAGON both have classic scenes that are always in movie musicals anthologies:GENE KELLY in THE BROADWAY MELODY ballet and FRED ASTAIRE in THE GIRL HUNT BALLET are probably their crowning achievements in movies.As for MEET ME IN ST-LOUIS,it is an enchanting old fashioned family movie.EASTER PARADE like LEONARD MALTIN once wrote, is too good to watch only at EASTER.Who could ask for anything more.It's impossible to watch SINGIN'IN THE RAIN and THE BAND WAGON only once.What have these two classics in common?CYD CHARISSE who is mostly remembered today because of them.Four classics for the price of one,what are you waiting for?

Musical awesomness,

This set of musicals from the years 0f 1920's and so on, were amazing, i really enjoyed them all! It was cool to watch how people used to talk back then, the soft elegant language that was almost too beautiful. Men treating women like delicate flowers, and women dressing so classy and elegant. This movie definitely represented the great times of those years. Really great set of movies/musicals. Really enjoyable for a family, couple, or teenagers, so basically for everyone!Very enjoyable to sing along to, in the movie!
