I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this book/CD REALLY helped! I felt it covered most areas that were on the test, and many of the examples in the Sample Test were a lot like what I saw on the test. I loved the CD test, and how it tells you WHY you get things wrong, etc.Definitely recommended. I took the EC-12 btw and did great! I only missed 6 questions! :)

The book really covered the same things that the test covered.... REALLY! AND there is a CDROM included that let's you take practice tests. It is great practice, and great if you don't want to just sit and read. The explanations are excellent and helped me to 'choose' answers on the actual test that I wasn't totally sure of. I took the EC-12 test and I would advise anyone else taking it to get this book/cd and forget all those other study guides.

This book has one version of the 4 PPR tests; I took the one for 4-8. When you take the test, the program keeps track of your incorrect answers. You can go through the problems you missed in a review mode. Thorough explanations are offered in support of the correct answers. It was very helpful! This book also has a 7 week study plan. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
