5.0 out of 5 stars If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would! March 29 2011
By Cindy L. Samuel - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I just picked up, started, and finished this story in little more than an hour. Joshua Graham is brilliant! I am amazed how quickly I cared about the main character, and his fate. I can honestly say, I have never been so emotionally moved, with such speed and urgency . I read, and reread the final scene, thru a haze of tears, grateful no one was at home to hear me weeping. I am not generally, what I would call a hugely spiritual person, but Joshua Graham, has the power to make a believer out of any cynic. Bravo, and well done! Highly recommend this!

5.0 out of 5 stars There is no comparison... April 19 2012

So many times in these reviews you see an author compared to big name authors. I just can't do that it this case. Joshua Graham has a style that is all his own and writes stories that will intrigue you right to the final page. I truly find his books hard to put down.

Graham is no King or Grisham... But King and Grisham are certainly no Joshua Graham!
I highly recommend him...

5.0 out of 5 stars A LIFE WORTH LIVING Jan. 11 2013
By Bookworm - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Dave McKenzie has lost it all. Hopeless and helpless, he wants nothing more than to end his misery. His life thus far has been spent chasing the American dream, the love of money has brought him to his demise. God is far from through with David, even though he has decided to end his life and release himself from his suffering. Authour, Joshua Graham proves once again that you can right a captivating story that moves readers to contemplate their lives in new ways. Graham can paint a vivid picture and draw you into the lives of his characters with words. I finished this fast no moving story in short order and closed the cover thinking, "That was a life worth living."

4.0 out of 5 stars beautiful short story Feb. 1 2014
By Christean - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoyed this spiritual story from start to finish. Graham is a good writer, and I'm going to read more of his short stories as well as novels. There were a few mistakes his proofreader missed, but they didn't hurt the flow of words. I loves the Bible quotes, and the theme of hope and redemption. One must suspend disbelief, but that's the point.
