From School Library Journal
YA-- A collection of short stories by well-known science-fiction writers, all of which share an antiwar theme. Some are humorous, such as Isaac Asimov's ``Frustration;'' others, such as William Tenn's ``The Liberation of Earth,'' are poignant. Kim Stanley Robinson's ``Lucky Strike'' and James Morrow's ``Known but to God and Wilber Hines'' are about past conflicts, taking real events and twisting them into ``what if'' themes. A valuable addition to sci-fi collections both for the insight these stories bring into the struggle for peace, and for the historical view of the impact of war.
