The Yoshima comes with a reasonable amount of software. The version I received has Android 1.9 which may or may not be superior to V1.6. I don't know what APP market this unit accesses but a number of the APPs available on my neighbor's cell are not accessable to this machine. The manual that comes with it is a joke and almost less than worthless.The most glaring shortcoming is battery life. I bought the unit as a reader and the best I can get out of it is 2.5 hours,NOT ACCEPTABLE for airline flights, and that with wifi off and screen brightness set to med or slightly below.
The color screen is nice, the memory card added with my music files (from records in WAV format) works fine and sounds fine with headphones.
I have not tried to read books in sunlight as yet so I don't know about the glare factor.
E-Mail works fine though I have problems with the screen size and the manner Android handles graphics.
My major complainent is BATTERY LIFE.

Nice case.Works well but 128k is slooowww.
The battery life is maybe an hour maybe and hour and a half.
Then needs recharged.
I would save my money and buy something more powerful.

I bought this tablet as a gift, basically when we opened it and started using it, it was immediately sluggish and then after about 10 minutes it froze on screen on a website. We just turned it off and then later on that night the person tried to turn it back on and it completely crashed. Unless you're looking for a quality coaster for your beverages, do not purchase this piece of junk.
