I know that everyone reading this knows at least one of these MCees (I hadn't heard of a few, but they're all fresh!). And maybe you're familliar with O.D. or the 'Beneath the Surface' V/A Comp. Well this album is by far the most original compilation since 'Beneath's..' release in 99/2G.
I mean consider the power this release holds:
--A new Mikah 9/Daddy Kev colaboration! (arguably the best track, though I've only caught about 1/3 of the vocals, he's quick!)
--An exclusive Buck 65 track that's done in his dark, droney metal style(one of his many).
--A beat by Elusive w/ The Grouch and L'Roneous rhyming on it!
--A tight Aesop Rock song, self produced with a low, slick Guitar/Organ/Bassline groove, maybe even a small wood flute?
--A colaboration including Mr. Len/El-P of Company Flow, Eligh, Scarub and Murs of 3MG, Mr.Lif and BMS, a true Rap epic with a beat produced by Eligh(xtra flavorin)
--An introduction to the Brain Busters (2Mex and Murs) with two different beats that are both the hit. 2Mex ALWAYS gets DOWN!!
--An Atmosphere track thats got that chillin out on a hot summer night vibe, crack a brew and smoke a few, cool lemonade is always good, too.
--And honestly some of the best work comes out of Self Jupiter who seems to have slowed down since the earlier Fellowship jams and has really become a thoughtful poet. Not that I'm suprised by this.
a wise man placed in trying times will
always release by honing his skill.
--And P.E.A.C.E and Aceyalone come nice as always, but I find myself jumping around and going back to them towards the end. Old Reliables...
This album will eventually surface, or go out of print and become a rare classic (I bought the triple LP).
Either way you should buy it and show it to all your friends, they might wanna buy it, too.
Thank you for the Underground.

It reminds me of what REAL hip hop sounds like. Nothing commercial, just the way I like it. Great mix of artists.
