Do not buy this CD. It is a sleezy attempt to bilk Adam Lambert's fans and cash in on Adam's name and recent success. This CD is nothing more than a collection of demos and back-up singing that Adam did to survive prior to American Idol. Adam has stated that he had no input whatsoever into the creation of this CD. As a paid session singer, he was told what to sing and how to sing it. Adam's vocals are always beautiful despite the material BUT Adam has stated that even the mention of this Take One CD creates a knot in his stomach because the CD in no way reflects his own vision or creativity. The last few tracks on this CD are just instrumentals and filler perhaps because Adam successfully blocked the use of a couple of his own songs on the CD. I first saw this same CD advertised with a different name and it contained a couple of songs written by Adam and Monte Pittman, his current guitar player. It appears that they had recorded the demos at this same studio. The CD disappeared for a while, no doubt due to legal wrangling, and then resurfaced as Take One. My advice - save your money because Adam Lambert receives no financial or career related benefits from the sale of this CD.
