5.0 out of 5 stars Fall Out Boy - Chicago Softcore at it's finest, July 14 2004
By
Meagan (Westchester, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Take This to Your Grave (Audio CD)
I own a great many cds, some with ok songs on it and some great. But by far, "Take This To Your Grave" is the only cd i own besides the other two Fall Out Boy cds i have that i will never ever grow tired of, ive been listening to it for about 7 months now all the time, sometimes listening to other cds but i always come to TTTYG a lot. They've come a long way and deserve the success. Not only is their music amazing, they are the nicest band ive met, very humble and funny these guys have something going for them.

I give it 5 huge stars

4.0 out of 5 stars FOB's First Full Length CD Shows They're Hear to Stay, Jun 19 2004
This review is from: Take This to Your Grave (Audio CD)
Fall Out Boy is carried by amazing vocals. Besides that, there's not much original about them. Without the vocals they'd most likely be a slighty above average emo band. The instrumentals are not very original, and that's the only thing that holds them back from getting a 5.
But with the vocals Fall Out Boy, is amazing. The sound is great, and getting a lot of attention. After the Warped Tour, I think they're going to be one of the biggest bands out there. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.
A mention about this CD: I mix songs together to try to get good sounds, you know like a DJ would do. Fall Out Boy is my most used CD. It mixes with nearly anything, and sounds great.

This is one of my personal favorite cds i have. They are an amazing band with great guitar, vocals, and drums. I definately recomend this cd to anyone who listens to rock emo or anything close to that. If you like senses fail, early november, or mxpx you'll love this cd and any other cd by them. Buy this cd
