After a successful tour in the U.S. in fall 2011 and a beautiful series of dates in Europe (two in France), Il Volo released his first live CD, DVD and CD + DVD box set. The set was recorded during their visit to Detroit and allows to realize, once again, the incredible vocal talents of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca. Everything is there, moments of intimate emotions to standing ovations, of "O Sole Mio" with their excellent cover of "Smile", the classic Charlie Chaplin. The DVD also includes a documentary about the tour, what extend the journey with this group.

I recently saw Il Volo Takes Flight on PBS. Just had to have the cd from it. These young men are not only amazing singers but so very personable. This cd is..just beautiful!

My only disappointment was that I had not fully understood that there was nothing extra in the de luxe edition than the DVD and CD that I already owned. However, it was not difficult to find someone that was delighted to receive it as a present. I never tire of watching or listening to these young men and foresee an extraordinary future for them.

Wonderful.
This is so fabulous. I could (and sometimes do) listen to them all day. I highly recommend this and look forward to a new album.

Lots of fun and opportunity to shine.
My enjoyment was doubled because I also have the DVD and can picture them singing. Good choice of songs - lots of variety and it's a pleasure to hear the solos.

Gave it to my sister & her husband for Christmas & watched it Christmas Eve.It was just wonderful & they loved it.Couldn't get over their marvelous voices & how mature they are..

enjoyed the music. traditional songs I saw these young boys on the RAI Ti Lascio una Canzone when they started out, I even went to see them when they came to Toronto. great
