This book starts off in chronological order dating back to Bobby Blotzer's childhood, but then the stories are all over the place. It is kind of like a drunk guy telling you random stories over several hours and many cocktails.
Apparently Bobby had help writing this self published book, I would hate to have read his original version, because with the help of two friends there are many typo's, grammatical errors and the layout of the book just does not have any order nor make any sense. It is also laden with half finished stories, which is frustrating since it is just when he is getting to the climax of the story, the sentence ends and he is on to another tale of his life. Bobby also repeats himself continually which is also frustrating.
The good points are, there are some funny stories about various rock stars, so if you are a fan of the 80's hair bands, it has some pretty good points. However, while reading Bobby's perspective, you start to question his integrity, since he often refers to himself as a rock god, but then seems to question himself and then resort to the fact that Ratt were and still are popular, but were no icons. He also has some not so nice things to say about many of the bands and their members of the 80's hair band era. I especially thought his rant about Kevin Dubrow was in poor taste, since Kevin is no longer with us.
This book is also very pricey considering he published it on his own.
