What does he see in her?!?, Aug 31 2000

I just didn't get this one. Michelle is a nasty, overbearing snob. She makes derogatory comments about Liam's parenting ability, career choice, and personal life. She goes off on these rants that have no purpose and even does a "background check" on him!! I don't know about you, but if some man came up to me, knocked my parenting skills, made fun of my job, teased me about the death of my first husband, AND had me researched to PROVE how unfit I was? Well, let's just say I wouldn't be proposing to him!
Ha! More like he wouldn't know what hit him when I got done with him.
Liam is a hunk. I'll give you that. And apparently, we're supposed to deduce Michelle has a softer side because she wears toe nail polish.
Honestly, I couldn't get past the first three chapters. I simply couldn't stomach the thought of a lovely, tortured man going through life with such a nasty witch by his side.
Save your money!

She did it again!, Aug 13 2000

Ms. London has once again wrote one of THE best reads of the summer. For anyone who loves her books, Tallchiefs in particular, should read this book. We meet the Tallchief family once again, with this new addition. I had always wondered what happened to the other children of Una and Tallchief. Now I know. I won't give anything away, but I look at carpenter pants in a whole new way. lol. All I can say is: If you enjoy Ms. London, you will LOVE this book.

Tallchief: The Homecoming, Aug 27 2000

I was very disappointed in this book. I usually always love Cait London novels, but this one is the exception. I tried to keep reading this book, but I just had to give it up. I really didn't like Michelle at all. I'm very disappointed to say that I just had to give up three parts through the book. Just couldn't get interested. Liam was lovely but why the heroine had to be like she was, I don't understand. Awful!
