I guess the title says it all. I was excited to get started reading this book because Lynn Bulock has been on my Amazon recommendations list for so long. Well, it started out okay, but it never really picked up. The characters seemed pretty simple to me. Tallie was the nice outgoing newcomer in town. She just had a way of drawing people to her. Ken was the brooding bar owner with baggage that he couldn't get past. They become close, then in a moment of misunderstanding Ken accuses Tallie of something she didn't do. I bet you can guess how the story ends. If you're looking for a quick easy read without much depth this might be the book for you. If you're looking for a great story, personable characters, or something to peak your interest keep looking.
