I did a fair bit of research on a case for my new iPad and the Targus Slim Case was the one that checked all my boxes. Was so pleased with it that I didn't mind *too* much that the magnetic on/off didn't work -- not until my friend got one that did. Even then I thought it too late to have any recourse without being out of pocket for postage. Until I saw the thread about the company sending out free replacements (with proof of purchase).
And most efficiently, my replacement arrived by Purolator two weeks later.

This is a really great looking cover. Fits my 3rd Generation really well. I suppose I ignored the other reviews and assumed that enough time had passed for Targus to have corrected the obvious problem with the magnetics....but not so. I called the Targus customer Service and told them of my problem. They said they were aware and took my info to send me a new case in 6-8 weeks once the problem had been remedied. I don't even have to go through the hassle of returning my current cover. Overall I am very satisfied with this cover.
