The book is very good. The CD was missing however, using Delphi 7 it wasn't needed. The Post Office took its time however; (30 days) especially when one is waiting for it.

If you are new to Delphi *and* database programming, this book will ease you into some simple applications and provide a general overview of Delphi programming.Despite being a tad redundant in it's explantions, the authors manage to get enough useful information into this modestly sized volume. For more advanced Delphi database programmers that have all the standard texts (ie Henderson's, Swan's, Leif's et al) , 'Kick Ass Delphi...' provides some interesting peeks into the professional world of coding...
