Practical. Aug. 5 2007
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound Verified Purchase
This planner/gradebook has everything I need without the extra fluff. I'm a high school teacher with 5 preps, and this planner/gradebook will work perfectly. Room for 39 weeks of planning upto 8 subjects/class periods. About 40 gradebook pages as well. Plenty for a school year, without carrying around extra paper. There is also a percentage finder at the front of the gradebook. The cover seems a little large, but it has expandable pockets at the front and back which I'm sure will come in handy.

One Stop Planning! July 17 2007
By Miss K - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound
I am a special education teacher and this planner has continued to be the best option for all my needs! Three regular education teachers I teach with have bought this planner because they loved the layout. There is plenty of room for lesson plans according to your unique schedule, the grade book is very organized with folds to make grade and behavior tracking easier, and there is a parent contact area with a "notes" section.

This is a no frills book - no bright colors or funny icons. But it is so efficient and cuts down on my paper bulk, it doesn't matter. This is the third year I am using it!

exceptional simplicity-comprehensive all in one! Sept. 29 2007

This lesson planner/record book is excellent for general ed and or special ed or single subject teachers...
great simple layout, student roster, seating charts, substitute info, class lists, tips for communicating w/parents, lesson planner, 4-yr calendar, year-at-a-glance, percent finder for grading, grade records, national standards, reference pages etc. etc. etc! 184 pgs, pocket in front and back cover, and pages for parent contact info, behavior/incident reporting/documenting. This is my 5th year with this book, I taught special ed. and now am a resource specialist with many different groupings and subjects. places for daily notes, attendance you name it. And no silly icons, or distracting information!

Not what I expected! Sept. 12 2009
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound
It's not bad and seems to be well made, only time will tell, but it is a lot larger than the image implies. I thought it was about the size of a regular composition style notebook, NOPE, it is about the size of 1/2 inch, 3-ring binder. If I had known that I would have kept looking. I was hoping for something small and easy to lug around. I teach middle school and it will handle the records for all 90 of my students (5 classes). The planner reads horizontally and I was hoping for a vertical format. Oh well, maybe next year!

One size fits all!! July 19 2006
By LME - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I am a middle-high school teacher and have used a variety of planners and gradebooks. In all of my 28 years of teaching, this is the absolute best because it is an all-in-one. No more lugging a gradebook and a plan book separately. It is a sturdy sprial-bound book with a side pocket inside each cover. It has calendars inside, handy reference guides, and ample room for behavioral notes, birthdays, addresses, and lots of other areas. The price can't be beat either. I will use this again this school year. It is no-frills but does the job. I give it an A+!!
