Like most review would say, this is probably their 'worst' album. The cd has some great moments and theres not a bad song on the album but it still isnt Opposite of December. Like OoD, there are nine tracks on the cd (Track 9 isnt a song), all a perfect mix of emotion and rage, melody and fury. Considering most review would say this is their worst out of the four(ish) albums, you should still definitely check out the cd. It has some great tunes, definitely class PTW.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the greatest ever March 26 2004
By Ben
Format:Audio CD
I was reading these other reviews that some other people wrote, and i was literally getting extrememly angry and sick at the same time. this is an EXCELLENT CD!! they say it isnt hardcore enough and i cant even express how wrong that assumption is. I thank god everynite for the songs 'Sticks and Stones, Rings from Corona, Botchla, all so hardcore. Buy it, SO worth it

3.0 out of 5 stars Their worst full-length. Feb. 1 2004
Format:Audio CD
This album, and this is my opinion, was kind of boring. The guitars were kind of weak, as well as the vocals, and the drums were not very energetic. This album did not feel very enthusiastic and it was kind of dull. I don't know what went wrong with this recording, and I was so excited after hearing 'Opposite of December.'
At least the production and the mixing were better on this album. It's just too bad that there are only three or four good songs. What happened?

4.0 out of 5 stars ''intoxicate me with all your voices'' Dec 13 2003
Format:Audio CD
a good release by ptw. but, nowhere near as good as opposite of december. on the other hand, it's nowhere near as bad as the new cd. pick up this one after you've heard opposite of december. standout tracks: rings from corona, turn down elliot, and parks and what you meant to me.

1.0 out of 5 stars a mockery of hardcore Nov. 5 2003
By james
Format:Audio CD
this album disgusts me, especially coming from the hardcore greats they are in opposite of december. what a letdown. i see no place in hardcore for winy emo, i think il just stick to true greats like burnt by the sun, zao, and the dillinger escape plan. absoluetely awful, dont even waste your time downloading songs

4.0 out of 5 stars How is this not in everyone's collection?? Oct. 24 2003

This album is a masterpiece..pure and simple. The soft strumming at the beginning of first track botchula is a smoke screen for the energy and vitality that leads us into geoff's lyrics which scream of desperation. as the album leads into proberley my fave track Turn down elliot you are just mad3e to emphatically wait for the melodic delicoius vocals...the whole album is a great slab of noise coupled with melody of every idea. i recommend that you not only buy this album and listen to its beautifully crafted love letter which turns into the most bitter offering i have heard in a while.

5.0 out of 5 stars I've Finally Figured It Out Oct. 11 2003
Format:Audio CD
This has been bugging me ever since i got this album. I give it five stars because it's just so good, but i didn't know what made Opposite of December so much better. I finally know. The lyrics and screaming is awesome, plus the guy has a great singing voice, even if it doesn't come out all that much. The guitar is heavy and creative, with a lot of cool riffs and fills. But what it really lacks is the awesome drumming of the O of D. I think they actually changed drummers between the albums and it definately shows. Still, this is a great album, definately better than most of the stuff out there, like Good Charlotte. It's heavy and abraisive but has a lot of pretty melodies. If you like 18 visions or Hopesfall or Thrice you'll love this, although it is kind of hard to find. Just get it off of TrustkillRecords.com.

2.0 out of 5 stars Lacking May 3 2003
By Mike
Format:Audio CD
Not even close to the masterpiece "opposite of december". There are moments of solidarity to the music, but mostly the songs meander and never really take hold. This is not a wise purchase. Get "opposite" and you will understand the potential that could have been.
