This is a great book. However this does not contain the CD Advertised on the book. You have to purchased book 2 of this series in order to get the CD.
I'm getting a refund on item since I was expecting the Cd with the book, customer service was of great help.
2.0 out of 5 stars FILLED WITH REPEATED FILLERS! Aug 31 2012

I got this book thinking it would help me with my technical hand drawings as my fashion design program stressed more computer flats. The only thing I learned from this book is that you should draw a line where an invisible zipper ends, and that was just from looking at the pictures. This book doesn't tell you how to sketch really, and claims it will show you how to do things on the computer (which I already know), but it never does.
The book repeats itself with each step saying to use "a thin nib marker for the inside details, thick for the outer, then create a computer vector, which again it never shows you how to do.

The only helpful thing in this book was the back where it shows how to draw certain trim details like lace, buttons, etc.

Don't get me wrong, there are some good tech flats in the book. But they really don't tell you how to do them really, more than what I've already been taught. Not only are the 3 steps "thin, thick, computer vector" repeated constantly for each step, each step is also repeated in 2 different other languages. I mean each step! Just create the book in different languages. Had to send this back!
