5.0 out of 5 stars Princess in love but her life's in danger..., Aug 17 2008
By Heather Watkins - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Temptation of the Butterfly (Paperback)
Princess Fen has been summoned by her mother to wed although she does not want to. Many suitors have come to the palace for the princess to court. There is one man who wants the princess so bad he calls for the Old Ways Ancestors to help by chanting curses over her.

Peasant/commoner Piers Arron comes to her rescue for the first curse and saves her life. As time goes on and courting many men the curses keep happening. At one point the princess seems it is just coincidental that Piers keeps showing up for her survival.

They have been meeting during these curses but the princess does not know they are truly curses until something was discovered. She loves Piers so much but she knows she cannot have a life with someone like him (or she thought). There is definitely a Temptation of the Butterfly. The suspense keeps you turning the page to see what will happen to her and/or Piers. Does she die? Does Piers die? Or do they both die?....

This book was really good due to the love, sex, mystery and suspense. I'm sad to see that this is the last book of the series. Wished there were more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Temptation of the Butterfly, Sep 7 2008
By M. Nix - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Temptation of the Butterfly (Paperback)
Princess Fen wants what she can't have because the man she desires is below her, a common servant whom her mother will never allow her to be with.
Piers Aaron is drawn to the beautiful princess, but he knows he is playing with something he can never have.

Will love really conquer all? Or will the two be torn apart by tradition?

Temptation of the Butterfly is the wonderfully written sequel to Seduction of the Phoenix. Michelle M. Pillow went above and beyond in this beautiful tale of forbidden love. Temptation of the Butterfly surpasses the first story in the emotional pull and struggle of Fen and Piers. Ms. Pillow broke my heart and made me cry, but she made up for it in the end and showed me how strong Fen is and what she is willing to do for love.
