I just saw this movie on the Movie Network last night and I have to Buy the DVD now, it was gory and had a lot of moments that really grab you. My friends tend to pass over movies that are subtitles and I used to be guilty of the same thing, unitl the day I saw Run Lola Run and was blown away, now I will always give the film a chance to speak for itself and I tell ya High Tension does the job.

This movie is fantastic ! alot of blood & gore , especially in the unrated version. At first, the story kinda looks like Texas chainsaw massacre or some other slasher movies but in reality its not. The twist at the end is pure genius. I would recommend this film to any horror fans, especially those who like bloody scenes mixed up with psychological thriller. Cecile de france is wonderful playing "marie". Overall, it is quite scary & sick, and so french! really good horror movie compared to all the crap we're used to these days (especially with horror)

I think this was a great story, and an interesting plot twist. The ending blew me away. There were a few holes in the story that I couldn't figure out, and the French subtitles kinda annoyed me but you get used to it pretty quickly. There are a few kills scenes that are very original and pretty gruesome and the killer is very freaky. It's a very good watch for a not too famous movie.
