I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall I am pretty happy with this purchase. I am 50km east of toronto and I receive about ten to fifteen channels. Abc, nbc, cbs, cbc in HD. The HD is crystal clear. It took me about a day to roof mount the antenna, and setup the tv. Good purchase.

The picture is great on the six local channels that I get. But there is the occasional pixelating on a couple of the channels.

Worth the money June 4 2010

After buying other antennas (and returning them) I must admit I was cautious about this one. I live near the mountains in a semi-rural location and some of the major broadcast stations are over 50 miles away. It was therefore a nice surprise that when I hooked this one up, not only did I get all the network stations, I got them from indoors just by putting the antenna on my living room windowsill. That's where it's been ever since, and even though the picture breaks up from time to time (bad storm, clouds, etc.) the overall clear picture and wide range are worth it. I get all the digital broadcast channels for my area, but I'm sure if it were outside, I'd receive even more. It's well worth the money, especially since Best Buy sells it for 119.99.

Terk Antenna Sept. 5 2010

Quick delivery, Had no problem setting it up. But does not include grounding directions. I live in Florida, the lightning capital of the world. You don't want a direct line from the antenna to your bedroom. And something else they don't tell you is that you have to use special splitters and ground clamp for an electric powered amplifier. So far it seems to be working great, lots of clear stations.

Terk Antenna in winter Feb. 7 2011

I located the antenna horizontally at the roof peak as the directions suggest and received very good reception but then snow began building up so put it vertical and received more stations that were further away, about 80 miles. Great! But then the freezing rain came, not so great! I scraped the ice off and the reception is fine but seriously considering moving it into the attic.

Excellent all around Aug. 9 2011

This took an hour to set up correctly. The key for my installation was installing it so it was A) perfectly level and B) rotated once level to get the best signal on all channels. With a little patience, I found that I was able to get crystal clear reception of all local and regional digital HD channels. I made the mistake of moving it up higher on my roof, which required that it be tipped slightly. This was a mistake. once i moved it back down and bolted it to the side of my house (level) the omni-directional antenna worked perfectly-- even in wind. paired it with a motorola signal booster/splitter with excellent results.

TV is Free Again! April 4 2012

We purchase this antenna and installed it in our attic. We are able to receive 20 local channels in an area that's heavily wooded. The quality of the picture is actually much better than DirecTV. It is clearer and the colors are more vibrant. We cancelled DirecTV and are now saving close to $100 per month. TV is free again!
