The 2011 DISCWORLD CALENDAR is an inspired collection of paintings by illustrator Josh Kirby, who had his own unique interpretations of Terry Pratchett's phenomal Discworld. Each full-page illustration also appears as a thumbnail image on the back. The calendar dates are exhaustively researched and include major real-time calendrical data for the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. It also includes notable Discworld dates like the Creator's Birthday, Samedi Nuite Morte, and the Uberwald League of Temperance Day (Remember: Not One Drop!).
About the Author
Terry Pratchett's Discworld series is a publishing phenomenon. Terry was knighted in the 2009 New Year Honours List; he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to literature in 1998. He has been awarded six honorary doctorates, and has won the CARNEGIE MEDAL and the MICHAEL PRINZ AWARD. He lives near Salisbury in Wiltshire.

I was very happy with this purchase.It came in time for Christmas which was earlier than the expected date. Was packaged really good so the item came to me without any damage. I would order again.

Calendar is everything you would expect it to be. It has 12 months and all the days for each month. The list of holidays is a little different for the US, but it is fun to look at what UK is celebrating. I forgot it was supposed to be a collector's edition and wrote all over it.
